Surflifeguide.com is a surfing 101 guide!
Hello everyone, my name’s Steves. I’m a surfer since I was a kid.
So here I will tell you all I know about surfing and bodysurfing. Surfing is my life so I will tell you all I know about it. I’ve created this blog cause I think my expirience could be useful for some of us.
Surfing as it is or how one trip changed my whole life
I don’t know where to start. What is surfing? Well, first of all, it’s freedom. Freedom that is felt in everything. In the cloudless sky and the scorching sun. In a cold wind carrying sandy whirlwinds and breaking waves. In the sand itself that overtakes everywhere and polishes the skin. And the sound of the ocean and the mountains. And there is also freedom here, it is salty splashes in the face, drifting underwater currents, stealing the bottom from under tired feet. The unknown carried by the ocean. We don’t know anything about the ocean. We do not know where the wave comes from and how it is formed. How to overcome waves, currents and wind.
Ride in the tube is how to make love with the ocean, the surfer does not fight him,
he makes love to it him
and this is the biggest, longest and most sincere love.
You flounder, exhausted. Everything hurts: the muscles of the arms, legs, joints, back. But some unknown force makes you return to the ocean again and again, even when your palms are rubbed into blood on the surface of the softboard.
A great thing is emotional uplift, a positive attitude and belief in your dreams. But all this is not very constant, shapeless and dynamic like water. Today you are filled with the energy and greatness of the ocean, tomorrow your water is a puddle on the floor.
When you are on the crest, it helps you to be in a good mood, with a smile and a desire to live brightly and freely, with the belief that any dream will come true. In quest of myself can’t stop until it is crowned with the desired result.
You can’t say to yourself, “I’ve made too many attempts, I’ve experienced everything, there’s nothing further.” You just take a board and walk towards the ocean. This is my way, I know it for sure.
